eOn Communications Corporation(TM) Receives TMC(TM) Labs Innovation Award from Communications Solutions(TM) Magazine

Kennesaw, Georgia, October 16, 2000 - eOn Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:EONC), a leading provider of unified voice, e-mail and Internet communications systems, announced that its eNterprise communications server has received the TMC Labs Innovation Award from Communications Solutions magazine. The October issue of Communications Solutions magazine reported that the award honors products for "demonstrating raw innovation, uniqueness, and representing a significant contribution to the communications industry."
