eOn Communications Schedules Second Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call

ATLANTA (March 9, 2006) - eOn Communications Corporation™ (NASDAQ: EONC), a leading provider of telecommunications solutions, will announce financial results for its fiscal 2006 second quarter ended January 31, 2006, on March 16, 2006.

President and Chief Executive Officer David Lee, Chief Operating Officer Mitch Gilstrap, and Chief Financial Officer Stephen Bowling will host a conference call at 4:45 p.m. ET on March 16, 2006, to comment on second quarter fiscal 2006 results.
